Pro users can create custom modes.

Donna requires an active internet connection on your paired phone to process AI responses. The pen itself doesn't need Wi-Fi — it communicates through the app. In areas with no signal, the OLED display will show a connectivity notice.

You can switch modes via the Nexus Pen app, using the physical buttons on the pen, or by saying a voice command like "Donna, switch to Research Mode." The current mode is always visible on the OLED display.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You'll keep access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees, ever.

The Free plan includes access to Answer and School modes, up to 20 queries per day, and basic OLED display features. It's a fully functional experience — no credit card required to get started.

With the Pro plan, you can add up to 5 family members to your subscription. Each member gets their own account, personal query limit, and AI history. You manage billing from a single account while everyone gets their own personalized Donna experience.

Nexus Pen uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to pair with the Nexus Pen app on your phone. Once paired, the pen streams your voice to the app, which forwards it to our AI servers. Donna's audio response is then sent back to the pen and played through the built-in speaker — all in about 1–2 seconds.

The OLED display on the pen body shows your current AI mode, volume level, battery percentage, and connection status. It also displays short text snippets from Donna's responses so you don't need to look at your phone during a conversation.

Firmware updates are delivered automatically through the Nexus Pen app when your pen is connected and charging. You'll receive a notification when an update is available. Updates typically take under 5 minutes.

First, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the pen is charged. Try closing and reopening the app. If the pen still doesn't appear, hold the center button for 5 seconds to reset the BLE connection, then pair again in the app settings. If issues persist, contact NexuspenLLC@gmail.com.

To factory reset your Nexus Pen, hold all three buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds until the OLED display shows "RESET." This clears all saved settings and BLE pairings. Your AI history and account data are stored in the cloud and will not be affected.

Yes. Voice audio is transmitted over an encrypted connection and processed in real time to generate AI responses. We do not store raw audio recordings. Conversation history (text summaries) is stored in your account and can be deleted at any time from your account settings.

Standard shipping (free) takes 5–7 business days. Expedited shipping (2–3 business days) is available for $9.99 at checkout. Express overnight shipping is available for $24.99. Orders placed before 2pm CT ship same day on business days.

We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy. If you're not satisfied for any reason, contact NexuspenLLC@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery. We'll send you a prepaid return label and issue a full refund within 5–7 business days of receiving the pen.

Yes. Every Nexus Pen comes with a 1-year limited hardware warranty covering manufacturing defects. Pro subscribers receive an extended 2-year warranty. Accidental damage is not covered, but we offer affordable replacement pricing for out-of-warranty repairs.

If your pen arrives damaged or defective, please email NexuspenLLC@gmail.com with a photo of the damage within 72 hours of delivery. We'll ship a replacement immediately at no cost. You won't need to return the damaged unit.
